A Grim and Sunken Vow by Ashley Shuttleworth

I loved this. It’s hard to review the third book in a series without spoiling what’s happened in the first two, but I’ll try.
This book focuses a lot on where each character is at emotionally, and builds up the characters’ individual roles in what’s to come, and what they’ll mean to each other. The pacing is slow but since I’m so invested in these characters that didn’t dampen my enjoyment at all. I love the time we took exploring each character’s trauma. I also really loved how the book explored Cel’s character and he and Lethe’s asexuality.
The book did a great job tying together all the pieces from the last two books in a way that has me pumped to write super intricate fantasy and desperate to read the final book.
