This is exactly what I needed to get out of my reading slump! This was such a fun read.

It was a sci-fi + fantasy and definitely something I really enjoyed. I love Cinder a whole lot. She’s super sweet and caring, and I love her character and the easy Meyer wrote her.

I also liked the retelling of Cinderella. I’ve never actually read a Cinderella retelling before so this was definitely a different retelling. But I loved the idea. Everyone in my family was asking “oh what are you reading right now” and I said, oh it’s called ‘Cinder’. It’s basically Cinderella, but with cyborgs and a new development in technology.

The idea for this book is so fun and cool and NEW and I’ve personally, never read anything like it before.

Overall, I’m really excited to read book 2!
