After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid

4.0

I think it's official.

I'm going to eat up everything Taylor Jenkins Reid writes.

After I Do is a roller coaster of emotions. Right off the bat I knew it was about to break my heart.

And it did.

In a spectacular, over-the-top kind of way.

I was able to predict a couple of plot points, those cliche moments, but I can tolerate that since I knew what I signed up for in reading a romance book.

Overall it was well written. TJR is really a good writer.

The characters jumped out of the pages as if they were real people.

I am not currently married or involved with someone in any way Lauren and Ryan were. I may not have the best judgement when it comes to what the characters were going through, and certainly a few of Lauren's perspective didn't align with my own beliefs and values. But I do know that somewhere in this world many couples go through that same difficult situation.

And I hope they try.

Because the sun will shine, no matter what.

And all we can do is try.
