More like a three and a half stars for me this is one of the books picked for the Richard and Judy Spring 2013 book club, and a good choice. The author uses location beautifully and has definitely made me want to emigrate to New Zealand. The plot alternates between present day and then recounts the events leading up to the horrific accident. This was very effective and gave the story an extra thrill and air of suspense.
