I fell in love with Karou and her story when I first read she lives in Prague and studies art because even though they are not really alike, Karou reminded me of my sister.
I loved reading about the Chimaera, I think Brimstone is a very interesting character even though he often seemed distant when it came to how he treated Karou.
Overall, I loved the concept, Chimaera vs. Seraphs, and the fact that Akiva's and Karou's love seems to cross borders even though Karou had no memory of loving him. Their story was magical and I loved every second of it.
I can't wait to receive the next two books in the trilogy and see how Karou's story ends.
