This is a dark fantasy and the characters are not really hero's. I was very interested in the world and found it unique. I enjoy the fight scenes and the unique abilities of the MC's.  I didn't like the MC and wanted to so bad but she did some stupid stuff and got on my nerves. There are places that dragged and then it would explode into action. I don't know if I'll run out and get the next two just yet. The ending was very dark and disappointed me. This is very well written and I believe a good book, I just am not in the mood for a depressing story.
