I think this book would be accurately described as a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fanfic where humanity must compete for survival in a galactic Eurovision. Whether that is a good or bad thing is up to you.

For me, it was eh. The author seems to like music more and humanity less than I do. A rushed and strange ending knocked it down even more.
