Actually like a 2.75 🌟 but that felt mean. I am not a poetry person, never have been, and I think that's more of a personal failing on my part than any reflection on the authors. I wanted to give this one a try after reading "Amazon History of a Former Nail Salon Worker" which did have an impact on me, but unfortunately the rest of the poetry in this book is not for me, nor would I say it's approachable for other poetry novices. In my rating system 3 stars means "might recommend, wouldn't re-read" and that's roughly how I feel about this one. If you're a poetry person, give it a read. If, like me, you don't really "get" modern poetry, then I would pass on this one.
