One word to sum up with book: SMUT!
Overall, this book is highly character driven and not much plot. Maas demonstrates how Nesta deals with PTSD-esque symptoms from the past war in ACOWAR. This is an important plot point that we see explored all throughout the book. At the same time, we are getting lots of Nessian fun! Definitely read this book if you want to be hot and bothered, and explore the character's mind a bit more.
I didn't absolutely love this book because I think I'm more a plot driven reader. But I still enjoyed this book a lot.
