To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
5.0
Wow I totally loved this book!
It seemed to have a slow start and took me a while to get into it. However once I did I devoured it between work and sleep.
I absolutely adore the Disney film The Little Mermaid, so I knew when I saw people posting about it that I HAD to get the book. And im so happy about it.
The characters are written incredibly and are fleshed out really well. I got about 80% of the way through the book and I wasn't sure how it was going to end and if I was going to enjoy it. But honestly it ended well. I would have a liked a little more detail between the epicness and the 'epilogue' (it's not named as such but that's what it reads like)... It seemed to jump from one to the other with little description which I think would have been really intriguing.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the book and I would definitely read something by this author.
