Save the Date is about letting go of the past and learning to accept change; and that if we don’t, we are going to miss a lot about our future.
However, it started off really slow, and it kind of stayed like that all throughout. Charlie annoys me sometimes—actually no, her whole family annoys me. I don’t know why, but they do. And they’re so mean to Brooke! I just don’t buy the family drama at all.
This book has a very large cast of characters compared to her other ones, which I think was one of the reasons why some of the dialogues felt too drawn out. I’m a huge fan of Morgan Matson, but this is not really what I was looking for. It was okay, but it was not her best book in my opinion.
