Okay so I’m giving this 3 stars. Is it a 3 star book? Idk. I jumped into this one so long after reading the first book (and I just did not have time to reread) that I definitely think I suffered from not remembering everything that had happened. I also feel like I was a little slumpy, it took me going on 3 months to finish this book. And it doesn’t help that these books are slower pace (which I didn’t mind for the first one but this one the plot itself felt slow and like I was trudging along).

It just felt like it took so long to get to this meeting with Morgane that was being set up from the end of the last one and that not much happened in between.

I will say two things: rude death (I will be holding a grudge over it) and what was that ending.
