I didn't really know anything about this book leading into it, just that a lot of my friends on Goodreads & StoryGraph had read it and that it's a series. I bought it on a whim from an independent bookstore on the way out of town and I couldn't put it down! It was so heartwarming! On the way back home, I bought the sequel so I can read that!

I think I am officially a magical realism girlie!

Read this if you loved The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
