It's not a bad book but I saw it more as a stepping stone from Annihilation to Acceptance. A lot of important things happen very slowly and I do think the slow creep of events is interesting but I would struggle to read this book again. Maybe I just didn't pick up on everything, I'm sure I would notice things the second time around.
