A sweet, steamy, quick read. Best friends since college....until.....
He's always had a thing for her, sort of. He did have a long time gf while he was in college, which is why when Evie comes along they become the best of friends. She on the other hand is a serial dater. Never stays in one relationship overly long, or she seems to sabotage it. After her last relationship lands in the trash, she heads home to lick her wounds and of course get some TLC from her best friend. One thing leads to another and these two finally cross the rainbow-friendship bridge, but could it do more damage especially when she tends to mess things up?

Since this is a novella, the steam is hot, the connection is already there so it heats up right away, and the drama is at a minimum.

It's a great snack of a book set in this Hot Chicagoverse fireman world.
