Holy moly, this book was so good! I haven’t read The Sister Between Us, and I can definitely say it would’ve been helpful to understand some of the backstory a little better, it didn’t take away from my enjoyment. I also feel like Hailey did an excellent job of filling in the gaps where some of that backstory comes into play. Sophia and Elijah were so good together- they had amazing banter and chemistry, plus so many sweet moments. This story also covers some pretty heavy topics & it’s done so gracefully. The trigger warnings are in the back of the book & I can definitely see why because it could spoil some more suspenseful parts of the book, but proceed with caution if you need to. I would absolutely recommend this book!
Graphic: Addiction, Cancer, Domestic abuse, Sexual assault, Blood, Stalking, Car accident, and Death of parent
Moderate: Child death and Panic attacks/disorders
