OH MY GOSH this was so stinking good! It was such an amazingly unique concept - a mix of murder mystery and family drama, but with a dash of magical realism and fantasy with a love story thrown in that isn't overbearing. The entire novel was suspenseful and kept my interest piqued from cover to cover. I just really, really loved this book.
