what’s better than a man obsessed? a man obsessed who’s a criminal hiding his identity to the detective fmc he stumbled upon on his revenge warpath and ended up falling in love with. but what tops that is that the fmc is as badass as he is. i’m a sucker for hidden identity and the forbidden dynamic between law enforcement and serial unaliver, there’s something so intrinsically devious to it that fuels the tension to the highest level. especially when it’s all said and done, the grovel is like nothing else and this was no exception. and i do love when the mmc leaves the criminal organization for her, when he never knew anything else aside from it until her.
