Wow. I liked this better than Normal People! Sally Rooney’s way of writing with a very defined sense of interiority is so, so great. The way that she builds characters and relationships is just fantastic to me. They’re deeply flawed and sometimes very unlikeable but that’s what I like about them, because they feel deeply real.
