I just love the way Emily Henry writes so much! I especially love how well she writes characters, including supporting characters. She makes you fall in love with them all and want to jump inside the towns. I live in Northern MI and I really enjoyed the setting for this book. I could totally picture it in my head. So fun to feel like had actually been to many of the locations mentioned in the book, from Tom’s grocery store to the Cherry Fest to a winery on the peninsula. Finally, I absolutely loved Daphne and Miles. They felt like real people with real problems. 

So many romance books rely heavily on the miscommunication troupe which I get so mad about. In other words,  if the 2 characters just had an honest conversation they’d live happily ever after. Emily Henry doesn’t do that which makes me so happy. She just uses good storytelling and real situations and you’re left believing and cheering on the couple. This book definitely did that. Loved it!
