Unspoken by C.C. Hunter

4.0

This book was a very good book and I highly enjoyed it! C.C. Hunter brings us an exciting and thrilling conclusion to the series. This brings us the end of Della’s story and I couldn’t be happier about it! In my eyes I think Della chose the right guy!

Now Della’s main focus continues to be trying to clear her father’s name for the death of his sister so many years ago. The case has been reopened and he is the prime suspect. But Della knows in her heart that he did not kill her aunt, even if his cold and distant to her over the past few months after Della became a vampire. Then off course there is Chase, infuriating yet still very irresistible. No matter how hard Della tries to ignore her feelings she has growing for him, she can’t seem to win. Though her struggles are completely real and valid and I mean a person needs to TRUST and so far Chase has been lying to her most of the time in the other books. Also Chase says he loves her, but Della thinks it’s more about their bond, the one that makes them Reborns. She thinks her feelings for him might even be based off the bond. I mean how can you believe what’s in your heart if there’s something else that might be a ruling factor in the game?

To make thinks harder on Chase…. Steve came back from Paris. Della and Steve definitely have issues to work out. I always liked Steve but I also liked Chase. You started to see who she was leaning to long before Della knew herself. I’m not going to tell you who otherwise I’ll spoil it for you! There is a lot of build-up in this book trying to find out who the real killer was. And we know who the killer was from the get-go, they just needed to find him, I mean one who was very talented at staying hidden for such a long time! And don’t forget to mix in the new set of murders, one that makes Della’s investigating so much harder. Let me just say this book was fast paced. There was a lot to read but the pacing was just amazing with every step of this mystery will keep you eating up all these pages!

I loved to revisit the Shadow Falls. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Kylie and when we got a story of Della I was beyond happy! She is such a sassy character with great attitude. I’ve always loved that she says exactly what’s on her mind! I really want Miranda’s story. I mean Perry left in the start of Della’s story and now we just don’t know what might happen between Perry and Miranda. Anyway this was a perfect end to a great series. One more thing I loved the dual POV’S!
