i actually enjoyed this more than the first book; รสชาติอาหารจานครอบครัว ร้านอาหารสไตล์ตะวันตกของโคโซ charts the origins of the hajime restaurant and the stories of its staff and customers. i rly love koso for his insightful, immovable yet kind character; the yoshoku food is a joy to read and imaginably salivate abt; the balancing act of restaurant and family; stories abt the staff, shopping street and its populace, and ofc tales abt the customers. the family-like dynamic among hajime's current and former staff is also a major plus for me. while the middle chapters can be lacking compared to the rest, overall the book is nevertheless enjoyable, proving to be a lighthearted read w/ surprising substance and hearty food.
