Im Dunkel der Nacht by C.C. Hunter

Still here. Still miss you. Still love you.
I'm writing this review wit a crying and laughing eye, how you would say it in Germany. Unspoken was definitely the best book in the After Dark series, the most emotional, exciting, saddest and surprising one.
First of all, I repeat myself : I love Della. She is so so tough and fights for her dreams, although she is a broken hearted girl inside. However, thanks to the bonds in her life, she stands up and thought - no matter that others said.
One of these precious bonds is the one with Burnett. Kylie has Holiday, Della has Burnett. I just loved their funny interactions with each other and how much Burnett supported and protected Della. Even if it meant to breake rules.
I even felt that Della's story was a tick better than Kylie's. Her family drama was really really heart-breaking and the ghosts were .... uff, I got some cold shivers while reading.
As for the lovestory. I read some other reviews and know that many many readers hate Chase. The lying guy, the typical badboy. Well, this book is partly written in Chase pov and thanks to that I could understand him more. Yes, he is a typical badboy, a typical guy, but he loves Della. To my mind, he changed a lot from Reborn up to Unspoken. Thus, they fit each other perfectly, both stubborn :D
The only thing that actually annoyed me was the conclusion. The showdown of this book. Just like "Chosen at Nightfall (SF #5)" the conclusion was just too fast. It was even shorter! You know, I was waiting and waiting for the final showdown, it came, it was exciting and terryfing, but uff, ends.
Nevertheless, I did enjoy Unspoken a lot! I just have go give 5 stars
