This was a cute romance with a bunch of annoying elements. First of all, there was so much miscommunication. And so many stupid things happened because Alexis, a 35 year old woman, couldn't be honest and communicate clearly?? Pass. Also, the fact that their age gap was made such a huge deal when it's only a 9-year difference between 26 and 35? (and the fact that Alexis struggled so much with being an "older" woman?) Pass. Lastly, I just didn't really care about their relationship? There was really no conflict to it in the beginning, it flowed so smoothly it was honestly a little boring to read about. That being said, it was cute enough and with a bit more depth I think it could have been a fantastic romance book. For now, it lands just short of "good" for me.
