First of all, this story will not be for everyone. If you're interested in this story, check the triggers beforehand. 
This was a very, very short story about a young girl physically, emotionally, and sexually abused by her stepdad and his friend. It is brutal and heartbreaking as it's told from her POV. It looks like a second book is coming, leaning towards some kind of revenge story, and I am all here for it. I can't wait.
