This book is absolutely incredible, and especially for her debut as an author. I bought this at Target not really thinking much of it, and I was blown away at how quickly I got emotional over these characters. I really felt so badly for him because more than anything, he wants his baby girl and he misses her. It really warms your heart and tears it in half a second later. I really really enjoyed this book so much more than I was expecting to. The court scenes are so intense and his disagreements with the family really got under my skin, like how could his own family turn against him during this difficult time? I just really enjoy books that make me feel - whether it's happiness, anger, frustration, whatever it is, I like to be so involved that I really feel for these characters, and this book definitely made me feel. So much that by the last few chapters I was in tears, and I was so sad that it ended and I had to put it back on my shelf. I highly recommend this book, you won't be disappointed.
