I was so excited to get the second book of the Kingmans series, I’ve fallen in love with this family and I loved this book. Declan and Kelsey’s story pulled at all my heart strings and made me laugh too. What started out as a chance meeting when he saved weiner the Pooh from a rattlesnake, turned into so much more. Kelsey’s team want her to start a showmance with him, but he had other ideas.  It was a slow burn but their chemistry was so good as they got to know one another and Declan got past Kelsey’s walls. It was nice to see the sweet and real side of Declan, vs what he only shows on the field and to the press. Throw in a few scares, one Kingman family game night and it’s just the perfect read. Can’t wait for book three!
