I liked it much better than book one. Just five months into dating, Quinn is ready to marry Janie. She has different ideas about what should happen in a relationship before a wedding. This was a fun read that gave us a lot more insight into the characters than the previous book. Here we have duel perspectives from the love interests, which I prefer to have a better understanding of the character's motivations. I recommend this for readers of romance only after Neanderthal Meets Human and it might have been better to read it after book two because it contains some spoilers for that story.
