This is a retelling of Romeo and Juliet, set during the Israel-Palestine conflict.
I love the idea of this story. I actually love stories wrote in verse. However, when you have multiple points of view... you need the POVS to sound different. Yes, you can tell who is who through the actual vocabulary but it felt like one person acting as both.
I also felt like there was barely any character development.
