This was ok for a police procedural/crime book, but I was expecting creepy Chucky doll vibes and it didn’t deliver. I was honestly holding out for this doll to come back into play but I’m disappointed it didn’t have more to do with the story. Still, it’s written well and as far as crime fiction goes, it’s a good read, just not what I had been expecting.
