A Man of Parts by David Lodge

1.0

I enjoy biography and the novels of H.G. Wells, so I looked forward to this book. Unfortunately, it is poorly written in every possible way: boring, incorrect grammar, unexpectedly offensive (for no reason, one person is first introduced as having "exceptional breasts"), incorrect punctuation, poor characterization, etc. I skimmed a few other areas but ultimately abandoned the book after only 40 pages as unreadable.
