Wolfram Von Eschenbach sucks, but this is an interesting and beautiful version of Perceval/the story of the Grail. Be warned, the author has many annoying moral tangents that slow the story down. I don't speak German so I can't speak for the faithfulness of the translation, but Edwards' prose was very beautiful and had a lot of really helpful context notes at the back.
