“Maybe we are weak, in a way. But that’s not a bad thing. If we’re weak, our weakness has real meaning. We may be weak, but we get it. We know what’s important, and we know what’s wrong.”

i don’t know how to feel. i’m satisfied with the change of Eyes and how he can feel different and happy. while on the other hand, i wish i could get a glimpse of Kojima and what’s happening to her after the almost rape scene.

i also don’t know what the writer trying to say, since every character has their own opinion about bullied and all of them make sense. i’m not satisfied with the ending because i want a more elaborate standing on the matters especially when bullied was described pretty graphically in this book.

but overall, i got the message the writer trying to tell in the other chapter, on why it’s so hard for the victims of bullies to stand up for themselves, the blackmailing of emotion that they face. this shows how we should take more care and attention to this problem because most of the time the outcome of bullying can lead to suicide and we all don’t want it to happen in the first place. would definitely read more books by her.
