The early buzz around ‘Martyr!’ and Kaveh Akbar is well earned; I loved this beautifully written, deeply affecting, and earnestly philosophical debut novel.  It was peppered with trivia that delighted and fascinated me.  Love the title and book cover.  Akbar is definitely a new literary crush!
