Perfection. Despite the depressing topic, this book was surprisingly uplifting. It was also brilliantly written, like having a chat with your older gay friend, I learned way more than I expected and got through it so quickly!
The only things that bothered me about it were the use of american spellings and the paperback cover peeling weirdly.

Graphic: Hate crime, Homophobia, and Lesbophobia
Moderate: Biphobia, Child abuse, Outing, and Pandemic/Epidemic
Minor: Adult/minor relationship, Bullying, Death, Emotional abuse, Transphobia, Islamophobia, Religious bigotry, Colonisation, and Deportation
This book is of course about section 28, so there's lots of homophobia and lesbiphobia discussed, but usually talked about in general terms, with direct quotes from parliamentary debates, as well as quotes from controversial books and activists.
There isn't any extensive detail of individual people experiencing discrimination, abuse, or HIV/AIDS, but a lot of discussing institutional issues with this stuff if that makes sense.
Everything I've marked as minor is literally just mentioned, there's not anywhere near extensive descriptions of any of this stuff.
