⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 stars. Reread 

This book had so many cute moments between them, like when sweet Lance gave Darcy the pink quartz stone which basically makes them committed and exclusive 🥹🥹. And they’re little inner monologue thoughts they have about each other are so sweet. I absolutely loved Lance's birthday. Like we got to see Lance, Darcy, Gabriel, Darius and Tory all in one place and having fun 👏👏. But then when Lance said “She is so… everything. Does she know how everything she is?” it made my heart so happy. And then just getting to see how much Darcy was brightening up his life again was amazing. But of course they couldn’t be happy for long thanks to Seth 😐. But I was so happy that Lance took Darcy on a date, and it was under the willow tree and basically a little winter wonderland 🥹, it was so fucking cute 😭😭. Like seriously one of their best moments 🫶. But my poor sweet bluelance SUFFERED at the end 😭, like why?? But y’all, I still have beef that the bluelance chapters are shorter than Tory and Darius’ or with Caleb, like hello??? But not only shorter, but there’s less detail. 

 

Tory + Darius 

I hated that Tory was so angry at Darius over what happened because it wasn’t his fault 😭😭. But I understand her because she just wanted him to fight for her to the very end and she just wants an apology for everything, that’s it. Like I love Tory and her fiery personality, but her stubbornness is frustrating 😩, but so is Darius’. Like the man initially wanted her after the eclipse, then he backed off, acted like an assole, acted nice and the cycle continues 🤦‍♀️. Like why couldn’t he make his mind up 😭. Because we all know what it led to 😩. Besides all of that, they had so many cute moments. Like when Darius let her ride on him in dragon form which is basically forbidden. And how they cuddled again, but of course, it got ruined again 🤦‍♀️.And when he told her that if she wanted to drown in the shadows, to tell him so he can drown with her 😩. The throne scene 🤭. And then y’all, poor Darius during their divine moment. He thought things were finally going to become good again and they would love happily ever after, but Tory crushed all of those hopes and dreams in an instant 😩. 

 

It broke my heart to see Tory and Darcy fight over the secrets Darcy kept 😢. But thank fuck Tory wore a hat because that literally changed things for the better, iykyk. 

Plus, It was so funny seeing Geraldine reject Max at every turn. Like she gave no shits and had him wrapped around her finger 🤣👏. And her insults to him were top tier 🤣. Especially when we got to see her and her father together insulting him 🤣. Y’all, the snowball fight with the heirs, the twins, Xavier and Lance made me so happy 😭😭. And then everything had to go get ruined. 

 

This book was a wild roller coaster of emotions 😩. It was the beginning of all of the chaos and craziness the rest of the books will bring.
