The Invention of Sound by Chuck Palahniuk
5.0
Any time you get hold of, and start into a Chuck Palahniuk novel, you're in for one heck of a ride. Chuck has this subtle way of grabbing hold and making it look like just an ordinary story, with all the fixings of a good thriller then thrying a gut punch in that just nails it, and by then you're in so deep you can't put it down. Fight Club was this way. _a touching gripping story, then, boom. More than you expected gets uncovered and you're in for a trip of a lifetime. This is no exception. I read the audiobook. And Hashette audio, did it and the narration of Jefferson Mayes, and the production with a few surprises to make it all the more darkly sweet, made for a great listen for sure. If you like your suspense on a darker bend than normal, you'll love this one. I had great fun reading this one. Happy reading yall.
