This was a great fiction-written-as-non-fiction book. The diary format made for easy reading. This book would be a great introduction to the witch trials. Reading it after The Witch of Blackbird pond would also really add to what you'd get out of this book. My library spent have Sorceress, the next book, but I'll definitely read it.
