The Witch's Vacuum Cleaner: And Other Stories by Terry Pratchett

4.0

I picked this up on impulse when browsing the library, just before Christmas. The colouring and style made me think it was a Roald Dahl book but I’m certainly not sad that it’s Pratchett.

One of my reading goals this year is it pick up at least one short story collection a month, so this was a nice was to start 2021.

Lots of fun stories about magic, mayhem and adventure! They make me think of games where children pretend to be grownups, then make up stories about what it’s like to be that grownup. My faves from this collection are: ‘An Ant Called 4179003’ and ‘Rincemangle, the gnome of Even Moor’.
