2017 Book Challenge- Read a collection

Some of the entries in this collection were spot on, exactly my type of humor, the sort of essay or story that I would share with friends and insist they read it. But then some of the entries fell flat for me- either trying too hard to be funny or just missing funny all together. So while I liked this collection- especially for the interesting mix of personal essays, short stories, lists, etc.- I did think some of the pieces were just so-so. I can tell Monica Heisey is a good writer and will continue to write some great pieces about being an adult woman (or at least attempting to be an adult, which I can relate to).
