Hoping for Love by Marie Force

4.0

Grace is a woman we should all want to take after, one who is unafraid to do what is best for HER. Once heavily obese, she decides (against her parents wishes) to have lap band surgery to help in her fight to get healthy. She also decides that staying in her parents home, where she is not supported, is not a good environment to be in. After a weekend on Gansett Island, she decides that it has everything she needs to help her begin a new life with her new body and new mindset.

Along comes Evan, and with him Grace begins to feel sexy and attractive. Even when things look like they won't work out for the two of them, she thanks him for the confidence he's given her and moves on with what will be best for her. Evan realizes how amazing of a woman she is and what he's stupidly throwing away. When he tries to convince her of his change in feelings, she doesn't just say yes right away. She doesn't trust that he's the best thing for her and makes him work for her attention.

I love to keep up with this series because Force makes sure you get updates on your favorite characters from all of the previous books. I honestly can't get enough of Mac and Maddie (the couple that started it all in book one, Maid For Love), and I love the little scenes we get with them in each book. Each book sees the addition of new characters as well, with each one interesting and intriguing in their own right. Force has a wealth of characters at her disposal for future books. I can't wait to see where they go!
