I enjoyed this, but it wasn't amazing for me. The audiobook kept me interested but it isn't something that I was screaming crying kicking my feet. Two things kept pulling me out of my immersion - this is not set in our world, but there were many references to our-world technology (cell phones, as an example) and items. It felt dystopian, but again, wasn't from our world. My brain was having trouble rectifying the fact that it sounded like a dystopian paranormal romance but in actuality, it was a fantasy romance. The second thing was that the accents that the narrators used (dual narrators) didn't match up and seemed to change partway through the book.
If the blurb interests you, then I would recommend it! But I likely won't continue in the series myself.
