The Art Forger by B.A. Shapiro

4.0

A fun and quick read about Boston's Art world and a possible solution to one of the paintings missing from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. I loved the mention of all the Boston places I have visited,The Oak Room. I thought the story was original and fresh- a great contemporary story with a health dollop of history. Claire and the other characters were well drawn and she remained for me, empathetic throughout. The details involved in copying art were intriguing but sometimes became tedious.
