Was a gripping and compelling read however the ending left me with a sour taste because apparently in 2019 we are still using mental illness = violent and murderer trope which I can’t stand.


That and the drug side plot was completely unnecessary. It’s only purpose was to get Heather away from the guests so she could be injured later but I think there could’ve been another way to do that.


Still… most of the book was good and I enjoyed reading it. Will continue to check out this author for a bit
