Nona the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

5.0

Before I start - if you struggle with anorexia or other eating disorders, this book is very likely to trigger you.

Finished last night but was letting the ending percolate before rating/reviewing.

So. Nona is Harrowhark's body but Pyrrha and Camilla don't know which - who - is piloting her. Harrow? Or Gideon?

You see. She has no memory from before she woke up with Pyrrha and Camilla. She has to relearn literally everything - from how to talk to how to take care of herself and so on. They call her Nona, off of the first words she said and to try to keep them from leading her one way or the other.

You'll spend the entire book trying to tangle apart which one is piloting, as a cascade of events happens around her.

I want to reread the last chapter and epilogue because it is this HUGE crescendo of realizations and action and and and - then a cliffhanger.

I'll be eagerly awaiting Alecto the Ninth, that's for sure!
