Three Simple Rules by Nikki Sloane

3.0

Quick Summary: Umm...

My Review: So, I read this book based on a recommendation, and it was extremely intense and completely out of my comfort zone. It came across like a watered down yet amped up version of 50SoG. The thing is that the underlying story was good, but something or rather some things soon became highly inappropriate. I mean really yuck, IMO. It was so wrong that it was incredibly unbelievable that any meaningful relationship could survive. Overall, there were a number unhealthy practices that made it difficult to get past.

My Final Say: That reading experience took me to the Twilight Zone. It really pushed boundaries... right off the cliff. Readers need to know that this gets a red alert warning. Three Simple Rules could easily be a DNF for many people and for many reasons.

Rating: 2.5/5 (The main storyline, minus the fporn. was solid. The enemies to lovers trope was present. The low simmer to inferno was present. The conflict was present. The HEA was there, even though...)
