On Human Nature by St. Thomas Aquinas
4.0
Definitely a read that stretched me intellectually in good ways. I don't know that I really have the chops to comment meaningfully on Aquinas. I will say that, as an intellectual lay person who is not a professional philosopher, I didn't always find value in Aquinas' musings. So while some parts were really helpful and insightful, other sections left me scratching my head on why these fine delineations mattered. That being said, I also am aware I didn't always have the background to appreciate/fully understand what Aquinas was talking about, and that may have played into it as well.
I find it a bit odd to be rating a book that I'm definitely not qualified to meaningfully rate and discuss, so take this as a rating of the personal value I found in it, not in its objective value.
Rating: 3.5-4 Stars (Good).
