This was regrettably a very underwhelming conclusion to the series. I'm bummed. The rest of the series more or less was a homerun. I should've been suspicious that the ending wasn't going to deliver in a way that I wanted it to with how a huge new character was introduced with only a couple of volumes left. I guess I still expected more though. It kind of just ends. I think it could've used one more volume, at least. 
I didn't hate it though, but I think with how this ends, this isn't a series that I would re-read.
