Maybe it's just because I know people who have been in relationships with celebrities, but I think this book is just not for me. It doesn't want to seem to actually interrogate or grapple with what life is like dating a famous person, which is fine because that is not the purpose of the book, but it just made it difficult for me to be invested in the characters and their relationship, especially when the protagonists concerns about having to change every aspect of her life to date a KPop star are treated as her "being cowardly" and "not giving their relationship a chance".
