If there was an option to give more than 5⭐️ I would.
Remember this book is taboo/forbidden and not for everyone. CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS IF NEEDED!!!
In my mind, while reading The Wild, Atticus was way different than I imagined. I knew I liked him and knew I needed to read this story. Atticus has my freaking heart!! The tension in this book is fantastic and the forbidden aspect made me uncomfy at times and I welcomed that. If a book can make me feel uncomfortable it instantly becomes a favorite. I’ll remember it no matter what because of how it made me feel. I read a lot of books so plots intertwine and I forget most of what happened. Eve has been through hell and has no clue about anything outside of her living space and the wild. Atticus is helping her heal from something traumatic and is introducing her to things she didn’t know existed. If you love a possessive man, have you ever read about a possessive woman? If not, READ THIS BOOK! The possessiveness and the “touch him and I’ll literally kill you” vibes were immaculate. At times this book had me in tears because of everything Eve has been through then the next second I’m swooning over Atticus and then laughing at shit Eve says or does. Dare I say it… I loved this one more than The Wild and I freaking loved The Wild. I can’t wait for The Untamed to come out at the end of July!
